Discover What You Need to Know About Designer Laptops
Laptops have undergone a lot of development over the years. The "rebranding" and relaunching" of the tech, no greater than within the last half a decade or so, which has seen a transformation from "tool" to "cool". Whilst many suggest the Apple Mac is the height of design; some PC makers would have us think differently.
Heading this list; and really specializing in the design of laptops as an accessory are Tulip Computers from The Netherlands. Their range is extensive; whether your want is a crocodile skin handbag, or something in leather, with luxury car brand Bentley's logo adorning it.
The height of Tulip's design can be found in their E-Go Diamond. A beautiful looking machine, inlaid with solid white gold palladium plates. These plates themselves are set with brilliant cut diamonds, making for a total weight of a rather impressive eighty carats!
If that is still not enough for you, the Tulip logos being set with a square cut ruby is the final self-indulgent flourish to this piece of lusted for mobile gadgetry.
More mainstream companies are getting in on the act too, notably Hewlett Packard. The powerhouse has, in association with Vivienne Tam, designed a line of notebook laptops with the Chinese fashion designer's signature peony designs upon them. Styled much like clutch handbags, it is very "Sex in the City".
With matching accessories on the bill too; such as protective sleeves and mouse mats, this looks like something HP are set to run with. Expect other such collaborations to be announced; for the male market as much as the females.
But of course, such laptops as the HP and Tulip offerings will only set you back mere thousands. Ha! That is small change of course for a jet-setter like yourself. If that is case sir, or madam, perhaps we can tempt you with the million dollar offering from Luvaglio?
Unfortunately, it is unlikely even you will have the pleasure of owning the 128GB, Blu-Ray machine; complete with its self cleaning widescreen. The Italian luxury giants are only offering it to exclusive clients, and it has thus far been two years in the making.
For mere mortals, it is thankful that the likes of Dell and Acer are also offering cheaper laptops; which allow individualism to be expressed. In the main, these of course tend to focus on cover design, as opposed to many other things. But it really shouldn't be long until they can be customized quite readily and cheaply.
