The Jackson DK2 guitar is a Jackson classic and is the favored guitar of artists such as My Dying Bride. This guitar is built to handle Blues, Rock, and Metal alike and will cover all of your needs.

So apart from the Jackson DK2 guitar, also known as a Dinky, being great value what else is good about it?

For starters, it has a terrific appearance. With the option to pick from 8 different colors, one will undoubtedly delight you. I personally like the Trans Blue. The transparent finished models have a stunning maple flamed top. It creates a desire for you to play it in only looking at it, plus this guitar truly rocks.

Next it has a terrific sound; you will certainly be bending those high blue notes and screaming without any difficulties at all. You are simply able to create room shaking screams and wails without putting it out of tune, when you go with the Floyd Rose double locking tremolo.

Yet, it is not only its appearance and sound which are great. Jackson DK2 guitars contain hardware that is of a military grade level. The materials used are not the usual cheap ones often found in  similar types of guitar.

Lovely to the touch, the fretboard is a bound rosewood. The jumbo frets make it a joy to play. The stock pickups are fabulous and position this guitar as a perfect choice for Metal and Rock.

This guitar has very little fret buzz and has a low action, which I love because I am no fan of sore fingers. The simple setup straight out of the factory will probably be fine for anyone.

The Seymour Duncan pickups are very versatile with the single coil providing a nice clean alternative to the full heavy thick sound.

This Jackson DK2 guitar turns out to be a fantastic guitar, and it is wonderful for using in on stage performances. The Jackson DK2 is extremely versatile, although Jackson guitars are by far one of the best type of guitar for heavy metal. Mean looks make this Strat style guitar look tough.

For the money, It's a sweet guitar, and a few upgrades can make it even better. The Jackson DK2 Guitars are constructed to last a long time and are very flexible in utility for the money that you spend. A great all rounder and a definitely a guitar for life!
